Supplying the entire polymer market

Main tasks in SSUCHY
Within the Functional Chemicals unit Nouryon produces and develops curing systems (i.e. peroxides and accelerators for room temperature cure) for Polyester based thermosetting resins. The task in the SSUCHY project for Nouryon is to develop novel curing systems for bio-based resins, which are meeting the labelling requirements, and which are particularly not water sensitive. This means Nouryon will develop new combinations of peroxides and metal accelerators which are not water sensitive. Nouryon is mainly involved in WP7.
Significant infrastructure and equipment
Nouryon Deventer R&D is very well equipped for research on thermoset resin systems.
Their research lab is fully equipped for making laminates and testing curing systems. Their lab is a climate-controlled lab, 20C and 50% RH, in order to be reproducible.
They also have a fully equipped analytical laboratory available for support.
